Propagation
A constant climate in the greenhouse – without daylight. For year-round, fully controlled and automated propagation, germination and hardening off of multiple crops. All made possible with our all-in-one propagation solutions.

Ideal greenhouse climate without daylight
Without sunlight, a stable climate can be maintained within the greenhouse. When combined with the right light recipe, plants can grow under optimal conditions – leading to fewer losses and more resilient, uniform plants after propagation.
We design integrated propagation solutions tailored to your location and crop – enabling year-round, fully controlled and automated propagation, germination and hardening off of multiple crops and varieties within the same space.
Controlled leaf transpiration thanks to a different approach
Our innovative and precise irrigation and misting systems manage crop transpiration effectively. They also enable the entire propagation process – from rooting, germination or grafting through to hardening off young plants – to take place in a single space. By regulating leaf-level watering, we train young plants to transpire consistently throughout the entire rooting phase.
Complete system, tailor-made
From consultation to implementation, Green Simplicity delivers complete systems – with all components seamlessly integrated and managed via a single central software platform. In close collaboration with the customer, we design the most efficient layout for a new or existing greenhouse or grow room. Whether it’s a single- or multi-layer growing setup, we support you throughout the design and implementation process. We do this in partnership with our GreenV network or external collaborators – including your own installer, if preferred.

FAQ
What kind of crops can be grown with your systems?
All young plants that require controlled conditions for rooting, germination, establishment, and hardening off after grafting. This includes herbs, vegetables, flowers, houseplants, tropical plants and other green varieties.
Will the cost of the young plants increase compared to the existing manner of propagation?
Yes, but this will be recouped through reduced losses, improved uniformity and enhanced crop growing power after the propagation phase. The plants will also be more resilient and no pesticides are required in the propagation room.
What does this technique approximately cost per net square metre of cultivation?
“The cost of this technique depends on several factors, such as the number of growing layers, the level of automation and the systems applied. We always assess what your crop requires at your specific location. If you would like a no-obligation price indication or quotation, feel free to get in touch with us.”
How is climate controlled at plant level?
Through one or more air handling units with integrated cooling technology (developed in collaboration with our partner Wagenaar Refrigeration). Depending on the setup, the system can be configured to cool and/or dehumidify using outside air, or operate solely with the integrated heat pump. More information about our efficient and innovative climate systems is available on our website under Climate solution. Climate solution.
Where can the system be installed?
Depending on your current setup, we will work with you to explore a number of options. Our technologies are modular and scalable, making them suitable for various spaces, such as existing or new greenhouses and processing areas. In new-build projects, all technologies can be integrated into the greenhouse structure and fitted with a sandwich roof. Want to know more? Ask us!
