Vertical Farming
All the benefits of proven horticultural technology – brought together in one compact, integrated product.

Ready-to-use cultivation system
“What is your product and how much would you like to produce?” That’s the starting point. From there, we design and build your entire cultivation system. We analyse the plant’s behaviour and requirements to precisely size and align all components. The result: a complete, ready-to-use system that creates optimal growing conditions in a closed, daylight-free environment. Lighting, climate control, internal logistics, irrigation, and software – all seamlessly integrated and tailored to your crop, location and needs. Up to eight vertical layers? Or a single one? The choice is yours – everything is possible.
Smart growing: scalable and cost-efficient
Our Indoor & Vertical Farming solutions are both customised and flexible. Thanks to the modular base design, it is easy to scale up and the future is taken into account from the start. For example critical consideration is given to the degree of automation in the first phase, but it is always possible to integrate this in subsequent phases. As a result of this, every grower can begin with this advanced system to the extent that is appropriate to them.

FAQ
What makes Green Simplicity's systems so special?
Our systems consist of proven technology from Dutch horticulture. What makes them special is that we always design them precisely around the plant. Each plant has optimal growing conditions, such as a specific light spectrum, temperature and humidity. We design the LED system, climate and irrigation so that they are in balance with each other. This ensures high efficiency and low energy consumption, whereby the maximum potential can be extracted from each plant.
We are going to build a new greenhouse, can a Green Simplicity system be integrated into this?
The construction of a new greenhouse is the ideal moment to integrate our system. For example, for growing, germinating, rooting and/or hardening off the crop before it goes into the greenhouse. The system can also be integrated into the greenhouse structure, so that no separate racking needs to be built. In addition to the fact that the whole can be perfectly integrated into the greenhouse, this also reduces the costs per square meter of cultivation surface.
How many layers is optimal in our situation?
There is no optimal number of layers. It always depends on your situation, location and crop. Is there more than enough land available? Then a single layer in a sandwich greenhouse is often the best choice from an investment point of view. If you are limited in the available space, it makes sense to go up in height with a multi-layer system. This can be up to 8 layers or 12 meters high.
How big are Green Simplicity's systems?
Our systems come in all shapes and sizes. The smallest we have built is about 15 by 4 meters and is largely manual. Scale systems are like growing departments in a greenhouse, but with 3 or 4 layers on top of each other instead of 1. Such a system is for example 65 by 14.4 meters and 12 meters high.
Are there things I need to arrange myself if I purchase a system from Green Simplicity?
We do our best to relieve the customer as much as possible, but there are indeed some things that you have to arrange yourself, such as the basic facilities that our systems require. This mainly concerns electricity, internet, compressed air and the supply of clean water. The connection to public facilities such as the sewer and drinking water system is also a part that we cannot provide due to legislation. Of course, we always think along, help where possible and ensure that you have the right information for third parties!
"Our complete and ready-to-use Vertical Farming integrates everything from day one. A solution that removes all the guesswork and allows growers to focus on production rather than troubleshooting technology.”
