To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who oversees technology, coordinates colleagues, and ensures that our systems are accurate down to the last detail.

Als Lead Engineer speel je een centrale rol in de ontwikkeling van onze indoor- en vertical farming systemen. Jij verbindt techniek, uitvoering en klant, en vertaalt complexe eisen naar praktische oplossingen. Met jouw technische kennis en coördinerend vermogen bewaak je het ontwerp van A tot Z en werk je nauw samen met collega’s, leveranciers en onderaannemers om onze systemen naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

During commissioning, you are the one who is in charge and ensures that everything works as agreed.

Your duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Developing and monitoring system architectures, specifications, and interfaces
• Managing engineers (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, water engineering, software engineering)
• Reviewing designs, diagrams, and system architecture
• Translating project scope into technical choices and supplier coordination
• Coordinating FAT/SAT tests and managing commissioning
• Technically responsible for the overall functioning of the system upon delivery 
• Project leader role in projects

You recognize yourself in this::

You are someone who maintains an overview in complex technical projects. You value clarity and quality, and you enjoy working in a small, professional team with short lines of communication. You also bring the following to the table:

• HBO or WO working and thinking level, preferably in mechanical engineering, control engineering, or systems engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary project environments as a lead engineer or system integrator
• Experience with commissioning or system integration
• Strong communication skills, including in English
• Proactive approach, quality-oriented, and able to maintain an overview
