At Green Simplicity, we develop smart, sustainable solutions for indoor and vertical farming. Our systems combine lighting, climate control, irrigation, and automation into one perfectly coordinated system. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who oversees technology, coordinates colleagues, and ensures that our systems are accurate down to the last detail.

You enjoy practical work, love technology, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues on sustainable, international projects. Sometimes you will work in our workplace in Andijk, sometimes on location in the Netherlands or abroad to assemble or test systems.

What's the job about?

As an Installation Technician at Green Simplicity, you will work on installing and commissioning our innovative indoor and vertical farming systems.
Jij:

• Installs and connects climate control, lighting, and irrigation systems to our projects at home and abroad.
• Works from technical drawings and diagrams and ensures that everything is carried out neatly and according to plan.
• Provides support in testing, commissioning, and optimizing installations on site.
• Detects technical malfunctions and performs checks or adjustments where necessary.
• Contributes ideas about improvements in assembly, implementation, and working methods.
• Works together with colleagues from different disciplines to make every project a success.

What do you bring to the table?

• Vocational education (MBO) level 3 or 4 in installation technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar
• Experience as a technician in horticulture, climate control, or industrial installation
• Technical insight, independent work ethic, and team spirit
• Willingness to work abroad occasionally
• Driver's license B
