Our systems combine lighting, climate control, irrigation, and automation into one perfectly coordinated system. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who oversees technology, coordinates colleagues, and ensures that our systems are accurate down to the last detail.

You enjoy practical work, love technology, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues on sustainable, international projects. Sometimes you will work in our workplace in Andijk, sometimes on location in the Netherlands or abroad to assemble or test systems.

What's the job about?

As an installation technician at Green Simplicity, you will work on installing and commissioning our innovative indoor and vertical farming systems. You will ensure that our air, climate, and lighting systems are properly installed and function correctly. You have a hands-on approach, enjoy working with technology, and like collaborating with colleagues on sustainable projects. Sometimes you’ll work in our workshop in Andijk, and other times on-site in the Netherlands or abroad to assemble or test systems.

Your responsibilities

• Installation and connection of climate control, lighting, and irrigation systems
• Working in various technical fields (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
• Installaties opbouwen volgens technische tekeningen en schema’s
• Assist with testing and commissioning systems
• Troubleshooting and performing checks
• Contributing ideas for improvements in assembly and execution

Who are we looking for?

• An MBO Level 3 or 4 diploma in installation technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience as a technician in horticulture, HVAC, or industrial systems
• Technical expertise, ability to work independently, and a team player
• Willing to work abroad from time to time
• Hold a Class B driver's license
