At Green Simplicity, we develop smart, sustainable solutions for indoor and vertical farming. Our systems combine lighting, climate control, irrigation, and automation into one perfectly coordinated system. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who oversees technology, coordinates colleagues, and ensures that our systems are accurate down to the last detail.

Je combineert graag theorie met praktijk en vindt het leuk om samen te werken met collega’s van verschillende disciplines, van werktuigbouw tot elektro en software.

What's the job about?

As an engineer, you translate theoretical designs into practical solutions that optimize our cultivation systems.
Jij:

• Designs, calculates, and dimensions climate systems, air distribution, and lighting installations for innovative cultivation environments.
• Develops designs and schematic diagrams into clear technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensures that all engineering and drawings from subcontractors are correctly processed into a single coherent whole.
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and fellow engineers within the project team to arrive at the best technical solution.
• Provides support in testing, commissioning, and optimizing installations on site.
• Contributes to improvements in design and work processes and actively contributes ideas about technical innovations.

What do you bring to the table?

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably in mechanical engineering, installation technology, climate technology
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with project-based work
• Practical-minded
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines
• Experience with climate control systems, ventilation technology, or lighting is an advantage.
