BEJO Seeds was looking for a flexible solution for their research and cultivation activities, in which all climate factors would be precisely controllable. The challenge was to realise four different climate chambers, each with its own climate condition, but centrally controlled from one sustainable heat pump. Green Simplicity developed an integrated system in which light, climate, irrigation and CO₂ are fully controllable via one central climate system.

BEJO Seeds needed a professional test environment for their seed research and development in Warmenhuizen. With four climate chambers in different sizes, they wanted to be able to simulate various cultivation conditions. The system not only had to be reliable, but also flexible enough to be able to quickly switch between different climate scenarios for their research programs.

The solution:
Green Simplicity has four climate chambers with an integration to the central cooling system that controls all parameters via the Green Simplicity software. The system offers full control over light (spectrum and intensity), climate (temperature and humidity), watering (timing and quantity) and CO₂ dosing.
Result
The four climate chambers are now running to full satisfaction and offer BEJO Seeds the flexibility to optimally execute their research programs. The integrated software allows them to quickly switch between different cultivation protocols and gives them full control over all environmental factors that are crucial for their seed research.
