For Van Paassen Chrysanten, Green Simplicity has realised a fully integrated chrysanthemum nursery, focused on maximum control over the cultivation process and uniform crop development.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge: greater uniformity, more control, and growth potential <\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the seedling stage, it\u2019s all about control. Variations in temperature, humidity, light, and watering have a direct impact on crop development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When these factors are not properly balanced or fluctuate significantly, variations in growth and quality occur. Especially in a multi-tiered growing environment, this requires a system that goes beyond traditional greenhouse setups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The challenge, therefore, was to create an environment in which all growth factors could be precisely controlled simultaneously at the plant level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the environmental conditions surrounding the plant are ideal throughout the entire propagation phase, the plant can process more light and thus build up more dry matter. This ensures that the plant has the vigor to continue growing uniformly during the subsequent cultivation phase, and this is where the grower reaps the greatest benefits.
