To better control the growth pattern of exclusive tulip varieties, Karma in Wervershoof wanted LED lighting to supplement daylight. Green Simplicity supplied a 2-channel LED fixture that allows them to switch between compact and elongated light for each growth phase.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karma is the Koeman family's tulip business. For years, they have been growing high-quality, exclusive tulips of consistent quality. In order to better control the elongation at the start and the compactness at the end of growth, they wanted to be able to provide their crops with additional lighting to supplement daylight. It was important that the system was suitable for the light requirements of the various exclusive tulips that Karma grows.<\/p>\n\n\n

We supplied Growlight, specially tailored to the needs and situation at Karma in Wervershoof. With this LED installation, including a 2-channel fixture, this tulip grower can now switch between a light spectrum specifically for the early stages of growth and a compact light spectrum required at the end of growth. Furthermore, this system is fully tailored to the greenhouse and the cultivation situation at Karma and ensures uniform light distribution without unwanted shadowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
