Achieving the highest quality in crops was the goal of plant nursery Gitzels. Together, we developed an LED solution that improves root establishment and plant strength. This ensures that the plants get off to a good start outdoors in the field.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From trial to practice<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gitzels is an innovative plant nursery that continuously works to improve cultivation. A strong root system and sturdy seedlings are crucial for cabbage plants to take root in the field. That is why the company conducted trials with Green Simplicity to discover the effect of using LED lighting and the right light spectra on the cultivation of cabbage plants. After testing different light spectra, the results spoke for themselves: better root development and stronger stems. Based on this, Gitzels has now equipped several cultivation departments with a Growlight LED installation from Green Simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n

Growlight by Green Simplicity is a customized LED installation tailored to the crop and growth phase. For Gitzels, this meant the right light color and intensity for young cabbage plants. With a specially developed light recipe for Brassica, this installation now ensures stronger plants with a more robust root system that take root better in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better crops for a better start in the field<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the Growlight installation, Gitzels now has the technology to grow young cabbage plants with stronger stems and better-developed roots. This makes all the difference once the plants are planted outside in the field. Gitzels can therefore guarantee its customers a crop that will get off to a good start outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
